The running of a registered club involves coming to grips with complex financial management issues in a highly regulated environment in which accounting and reporting requirements have to be met while maintaining compliance with licensing laws and controlling a business in which there is commonly significant involvement of cash and the related risks. The firm principal is also holder of a NSW licensee Competency Card and has been treasurer/director of a licensed club for several years, bringing experience and understanding to the issues that are present in this environment, with a particular focus on the situation in the smaller clubs.
